Agreement to terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Stashd app, operated by LetsGetStashd™ Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17304979), registered office 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using Stashd, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Stashd. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. By using the app, you confirm you meet these requirements and that using Stashd doesn't violate any law that applies to you.

The service

Stashd lets you hide physical items ("stashes") in real-world locations and share GPS-based clues so other players can find them, individually or as part of a themed "trail." We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Your account

You sign in to Stashd using your Apple or Google account. You're responsible for keeping that account secure and for all activity that happens under your Stashd account. Let us know via Support if you suspect unauthorised access.

Playing Stashd responsibly

• Only hide a stash somewhere you have the right to access, and follow local laws and any rules that apply to that land or property.
• Never hide anything illegal, dangerous, hazardous, or that could reasonably alarm someone who finds it unexpectedly.
• Don't trespass, damage property, or disturb wildlife/protected land to place or find a stash.
• Be respectful of other players, property owners, and members of the public while playing.
• Don't cheat — e.g. spoofing your GPS location, or using automated tools to interact with the app.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of the stash descriptions, photos, trail names, and other content you submit through the app. By submitting it, you grant LetsGetStashd™ Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate Stashd (for example, showing your proof photo to other players who find the same stash). You confirm you have the right to share whatever you upload. We can remove content that breaches these Terms.

Intellectual property

The Stashd app, the LetsGetStashd™ name and mark, and associated branding belong to LetsGetStashd™ Ltd. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to you. Don't copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the app outside what your device's app store terms permit.

Third-party services

Stashd relies on services from Apple and Google (sign-in, maps, cloud infrastructure). Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies, in addition to ours.

Disclaimer

Stashd involves real-world physical activity — walking, navigating outdoors, and interacting with your environment. GPS accuracy varies and isn't guaranteed. Use your own judgment about personal safety, trespassing, weather, terrain, and traffic. The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetsGetStashd™ Ltd isn't liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from hunting for or placing a stash, or from reliance on the app's location data.

Ending your use

You can stop using Stashd and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, misuse the app, or put other players at risk.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
