Made for the iPhone Duo
Folded, the picture fills the top half of the screen, the controls sit underneath and the camera's name sits in the hinge. Unfolded, DuoCam uses the whole inner screen. It runs on any iPhone, too.
Live, Loop or Delayed
Live is moving video as it happens. Loop is a short clip that repeats. Delayed is a still picture that refreshes every so often. Every camera says which it is, so you know what you are looking at.
Search and filters
Search for a camera or a place, then narrow the list by kind (Live, Loop, Delayed) and by category: traffic, landmarks, weather, harbours, nature and cities.
Favourites
Tap the heart on any camera to keep it. Your favourites are always one tap away in their own list.
Full screen
Tap the picture to fill the screen and tap again to come back. Some pictures fill the screen and others keep black bars: each camera has its own shape, and DuoCam never crops away more than it should.
One, two or four at once
Watch a single camera, or two or four side by side. With several cameras, tap one to choose which has the sound. Two and four cameras are part of DuoCam Pro.
Share a camera
Send a camera to a friend as a card with a picture and a link. When they tap the link, it opens that camera in DuoCam.
Snapshots and clips
Save a snapshot of a camera, or record a clip from live video cameras whose owners allow it. You choose where each one is saved, and we never receive them. Both are part of DuoCam Pro.
Always up to date
DuoCam checks for new and removed cameras every time you open it, so the list stays current without an app update. You can report a camera that is down, suggest one to add, or ask us to remove one.
No account, no tracking
There is no sign-in, no analytics and no crash-reporting service in the app, and it asks for none of your permissions. The free version shows non-personalised ads; DuoCam Pro or a one-off purchase removes them. DuoCam is available in 28 languages.
Free, and DuoCam Pro
DuoCam is free to download. Free, you can browse the whole globe, watch one camera at a time and keep three favourites.
DuoCam Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. It adds two and four cameras at once, unlimited favourites, snapshots, recording and your own camera links. The App Store shows the plans when you choose one, and you can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings at any time.
About the cameras
DuoCam is a viewer. Every picture belongs to the person or organisation that publishes it, and DuoCam claims no ownership of any of them. Some cameras may have been added by automated collection of publicly reachable addresses, and we have not been able to obtain the express permission of every owner. We are sorry about that.
If you own, run or host a camera shown in DuoCam and would like it removed, tell us in the app (Settings, Ask us to remove a camera) or email support@letsgetstashd.com. We aim to remove it promptly, normally within 72 hours, and we will not ask you to justify the request. Please do not rely on DuoCam for anything safety-critical.
